EU market entry: from strategy to an established company and an operating unit
For companies from outside the European Union, and for companies from Adria entering DACH. Most consultancies stop at the strategy. We continue to the registered company, the permits, the location, the first employees and the first business, with interim management where needed until you appoint your own.
EU Market Entry Program
4 to 9 months depending on the sector and permits. The most frequent point of entry is Austria, usually Vienna.
- Entry strategy: choice of the first market and the form of entry, franchise, licence, distribution, joint venture or own unit. Regulation that in the EU often decides the form. Sequence of markets.
- Regulatory scan: who may deliver the service, which licences or qualifications are required, what may be claimed in advertising, requirements for products, equipment and data.
- Company: legal form, formation, tax numbers, trade permits, bank account, basic contracts, coordination of notary, accountant and lawyer. Final approvals rest with banks and authorities.
- Own Unit Track: location, permits, suppliers, hiring of the first employees including the manager, launch and first business, until the unit operates on its own. Or Partner Track: a shortlist of vetted local partners from our network, selection, and onboarding of the chosen partner.
Interim manager or authorised representative, monthly, until you appoint your own management. After launch, the International retainer for the first three to six months, then Advisory or Network Support.
Two ways in
Gulf to Europe
For companies from Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and the wider region. Why Austria, what the EU regulates that the Gulf does not, and what the first twelve months look like.
Adria to DACH
For companies from Slovenia and the region opening in Austria, Germany or Switzerland with their own units or through partners. Company formation, permits and hiring in Vienna are routine for us.
Start with one question
EU Entry Strategy
Which market, in what form, and what must be in place beforehand? Two to three candidate markets, one recommendation, six to eight weeks.
Regulatory Scan
A map of what your service model may and may not do in the target market, with a rating: entry makes sense, makes sense in a changed form, or does not. Three weeks.
European Company Formation
Formation and start of operations in a chosen European country, six to twelve weeks, with all procedures coordinated. Tax opinion by a licensed adviser, not included.
Frequently asked
Why Austria?
Central location, German language for DACH, a legal system that companies from outside the EU find predictable, and a place where we have formed and launched companies repeatedly. Other entry points are possible where the sector requires it.
Do you provide legal and tax advice?
No. We prepare the business and contractual design and coordinate notaries, lawyers and accountants. Legal wording and tax opinions are confirmed by licensed local professionals, whose cost is separate.
Can you act as our manager at the start?
Yes, as interim manager or authorised representative, monthly, until you appoint your own management. This is a separate role with separate responsibility and is priced separately.
The first conversation is without obligation and takes 45 minutes.
Within five working days we prepare a proposal for a Focused Engagement or a programme, with scope, deliverables, deadline and a fixed price. The price is fixed, by work package, and is reduced only with a proportionate reduction in scope, a longer deadline or a larger contribution by the client.
